My Travel Story

Hi! I am Cambria Oldham, a second year student at Barton College, where I study chemistry and mathematics. I am looking to raise some money for an educational trip to the Galapagos Islands. I am doing everything I can to obtain the necessary funds, but I can't do it without you! 

Traveling abroad is an opportunity most people don't get in their lifetime, but has been one that I have dreamed of since I was a young child. If you ask my parents, I was always asking if we could take trips to new places anywhere and everywhere. Fortunately, I have been given the chance to take a trip abroad to the Galapagos Islands. This cultural and educational experience is one that I am extremely excited and grateful to be a part of. I have never traveled abroad before and this will be my first time going on a trip without my family. I believe that this experience will be an awakening one, opening my eyes to a new way of living. Not only will I be immersing myself in a new culture, but my intellectual curiosity will be ignited through the environment and wildlife in and around the islands. There is no doubt I will gain some impactful knowledge and unique experiences along this trip. Check out the itinerary to see the fun things we will be doing!
