Help Us Tale Our Babies To See Disney For The First Time
My Travel Story
Like so many kids, they’ve heard the stories. Their friends come back from trips with huge smiles, souvenirs, and magical memories — and my two just listen with wide eyes and kind smiles. They never say anything. Never ask. Not even for Christmas or birthdays. They just say, “It’s okay, Mommy. We don’t need anything.” And while that shows me how big their hearts are, it also breaks mine in a way that’s hard to describe.
We’ve been saving for years, trying to buy our first home. Almost everything we have goes straight into our savings — we live in a tiny two-bedroom, one-bath apartment, and it’s just not enough space for a growing family. I’m legally blind due to tumors in my eyes and brain, so I’m unable to work. My husband works two jobs just to keep us going. Between rent, groceries, bills, and life, it feels like we’re always just barely getting by. Just when we think we're 5 steps forward, we end up being 11 steps behind.
But somehow, through all of this, our kids remain the kindest, most selfless little souls you could ever meet. They stand up for others. They share what little they have. They look out for people who feel left out or sad — and they do it all without ever expecting anything in return. They are pure sunshine, and I just want them to experience something that reflects the magic they put into this world.
If this trip becomes possible — if we could actually pull off this surprise — I don’t even know how to describe what that would mean to me. Just the thought of seeing their faces light up… it makes me teary already. If you’re able to help in any way, even if it’s just by sharing this with someone else, thank you. From the very bottom of my heart — thank you. You’re helping bring something to life that I’ve only ever dreamed about.
