Hello everyone, I am reaching out to you all with a heartfelt request. My beloved Nonno recently passed away, leaving behind just the cherished memories of him. He was born and raised in a small, picturesque village in Italy, a place that he often spoke of with great fondness having left when he was 19.  This village was where he spent his childhood, and it has always been a dream of mine to visit and experience the place that shaped the incredible man he became. My parents are planning a trip but are tight on money and unfortunately, such travel is extremely expensive. For my own trip it will cost almost $3000, and I am hoping to help how I can with the expenses, aiming for a total of $5000. I am working to save up, but it won't be enough for a round trip to Italy to visit my Nonno’s birthplace and childhood home and helping my parents. This journey means the world to me as it would allow me to connect with my roots and honour my Nonno’s memory in the most meaningful way possible. I plan to take photos and collect stories to share with my family, preserving the essence of our heritage for future generations. Any contribution, no matter how small, will bring me one step closer to fulfilling this deeply personal pilgrimage, and helping my parents with the cost.
