HOW WILL THIS IMPACT MY EDUCATION? : Originally i am from the Democratic Republic of Congo, DRC. I managed to move to South Africa through being smuggled at the back of a truck by someone who knew my parents before they were excuted by armed rebels known as the M23, in the south of the DRC. Studied and finished matric in South Africa, qualified for a bachelor's degree but couldn't further my tertiary education due to financial difficulties. So, moving successfully into one of the countries mentioned would mean a great deal for me and my education. My hope is to continue studying.

HOW WILL I MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE COMMUNITY? : I am a people's person, well at least i think iam, always been passionate about helping people, any type of volunteerism taking part in the community i will participate.

WHY AM I PASSIONATE ABOUT THIS PROJECT? : The project alone means a lot to me, it will act as a form of salvation, a form of rescue, and a form of refuge.

WHY DID I CHOOSE THIS DESTINATION? : It was recommended to me, i was told the platform has some of the most kindest people, people with a heart of gold, people who understand pain, people who believe in helping the unfortunate.

WHAT MAKES THIS MEANINGFUL TO ME? : I am a lone child, no siblings, the only child ever conceived by my parents, never knew my father, according to my mom whom i spent a few years with, my father was a Congolese government official and was murdered for his role as such by armed rebels before i was born. My mother passed away shortly before i was smuggled into South Africa. In South Africa i live with my uncle's wife, my uncle passed away in 2017 due to illness. We struggle hard financially, my aunt has two kids and sometimes we sleep hungry. I managed to complete my high school and qualified for a bachelor's degree, no funding, no scholarship, nothing. South Africa is not very friendly to foreign nationals, been in the country for over 10 years but never been granted proper documentation. If i never attended government school i don't think i would have completed my high school, because they charged no fees. It will mean a whole lot if anyone helps me, i just want a normal life like most people, thank you in advance.
