My name is Gabriela, and this is more than just a travel dream — it’s a chance to restore my spirit, grow as a person, and come back with a heart full of strength and inspiration for my community.

This past year has tested me in every possible way. I lost my job, and despite doing everything I can through small jobs to support my family, we’re still struggling with debt, lack of basic services, and living conditions that are far from safe or stable. Emotionally and physically, it’s been exhausting.

Traveling to Italy would be life-changing. Italy is a place filled with history, beauty, art, and culture — things I’ve only ever seen in books or online. Experiencing it in person would not only be healing, but also educational. It would open my mind, allow me to learn, and give me new inspiration that I plan to carry into my future.

I want to use this experience to reconnect with myself, and then share what I learn and feel with others in my community. I want to inspire those around me, especially people who are also going through difficult times, to keep dreaming and keep going. This journey would help me rebuild my confidence and mental health, so I can return home not only stronger, but ready to help others too.

I chose Italy because I’ve always felt drawn to its deep sense of art, history, and emotional richness. I believe it’s a place that can help me reconnect with hope and purpose — something I desperately need right now.

This trip would mean the world to me. It’s not just a break — it’s a moment to breathe, to grow, and to believe again. I would be forever grateful for your support, and I promise to carry this gift in my heart, using it to uplift others.
