My Travel Story

An amazing opportunity has been offered to me travel to Bali in September 2020 as I enter the third year of my Psychology degree. 

In Bali I will be gaining hands-on experience and training opportunities to develop professional and practical skills in psychology. 

The aim of SLV Global is to promote positive mental health globally and make this accessible in developing countries where mental health is often stigmatised. 

In Bali I will be running sessions and activities to encourage positive mental health with different members of the community, working with children, individuals with special learning needs, in psychiatric facilities, with the elderly, and more. This opportunity will provide me with some amazing unique experiences and skills, that will greatly benefit and strengthen my abilities as a practicing psychologist when I graduate.

I am truly passionate in SLV Global's message and values, in encouraging positive mental health, supporting those in need, and making this support accessible for all.
