My Travel Story

Hello everybody,
My name is Kevin, I am 20 years old and I am currently living n Bangkok Thailand. I am living and teaching. here for the past 6 months and I am teaching children at the age of 6 to 12 English. It has always been my dream to live in south-east Asia so, after a long time of thinking I decided to give Thailand a try. So far my time here was fabulous and I made many friends. 
My main goal is to teach the students basic conversation which I teach them with many games and talking to them. For the past 4 months, I am teaching at Phra Phadeang a district in the province of Samut Prakan, located South Bangkok. Every other week on Saturday, I travel together in a group of other volunteers to the villages located outside of Bangkok and teach them English for one day. The past half-year I started to love teaching and in my time teaching here i not only realized, that i want to keep doing it for a long time but also that it's needed.
The English level of most students is quite low, and the studends are in need of a foreigne teacher.
The main reason why my time in bangkok is quite costly is that i have to boarder run/refresh my visa every month and that cost me atleast 50€ each time and i am working for free. I am very uncomfortable beeing in this position but i see no other way. I can't explain the feeling that i get when i step in the class and all the students rush to me and hung me and yell 'Good morning teacher' while 4 months ago they where to shy to say a single word. I can not put in words how gradefull i am for your love and support
