My Travel Story

For my birthday this year, I kindly ask your little support for my fundraising to attend this amazing conference; Change the World Model United Nations in the UN Headquarters in New York City from the March 27th to March 30th.

Myself and more than 3000 ambitious delegates globally will be gathered and discuss about the most significant issues such as Climate Change and so on.

I have always been fantasising and passionate about the work that UN have been embarking on. This conference would allow young people like me a real opportunity to fulfil my dream of being a part of the United Nations and more importantly a deeper understanding on the fact that a small commitment could make a huge difference to make the world that we live in a better and happier place to live in for every one of us. I have been really privileged to be selected as one of the delegates for this upcoming Conference.

However, this once in a lifetime opportunity comes with a hefty price. As a Malaysian student studying in the UK, this is a huge amount of expenses to be beared. This includes my flight tickets, accommodation, entry visa, participation fee as well as living expenses. It would all be an estimated total amount of £1000. I am already working very hard part-time, and I would be partially funding my dream of being a part of the UN; but I would still require some support particularly on flight tickets and accommodation in an extremely expensive city.

I sincerely hope that you would consider contributing as a way to fulfil my dream. Again, every little of your help could make a big difference and fulfil my dream.
