As our 10th anniversary approaches, I knew I wanted to do something truly special for my wife. However, the last year was different. My wife had been battling a serious illness, and our lives had been consumed by doctor's visits, treatments, and surgery. Amidst the challenges, I long to give my wife a moment of respite, a memory to cherish amidst the hardship.

Since I’ve known her she has always wanted to go to Greece. The country's beauty and rich history, promising a serene backdrop for us to celebrate a decade of love and perseverance. I imagine strolling hand in hand through the ancient streets of Athens, marvelling at the Acropolis together, and relaxing on the picturesque beaches of Santorini.

More than just a vacation, this trip symbolized hope and resilience. It will be a chance for us to escape the worries of illness and embrace the joy of simply being together.
