My Travel Story

My twin sister and I have each been awarded a scholarship to study adroad for 4 weeks this summer in Spain to learn about the Spanish lanuage and culture. We are both currently in spanish 2. One of us is going to Seville and the other to Madrid. We got the scholarships from a program called Ciee. However, the scholarships do not cover airfair or spending money. Our family is doing the best they can to help us, but they are struggling financially and we can use all the help we can get. This expirence would really help with our education as we study spanish in school, and it will give us a better understanding about Spain, its people and its culture.  We are so fortunate to have been awarded full scholarships (valued at $6,100 each), and it would be devastating to not be able to take advantage of this amazing opportunity because we can't afford the airfare or have the minimum recomended "pocket money" with us!  Every dollar helps!  Thank you for taking the time to read and thank you in advance for anything you can do to help!
