My Travel Story
This is Paul. He’s the kind of man who’s never met a stranger. He’s been a friend, a brother, and a rock to so many of us — especially here in our little mountain town. We’ve laughed with him, leaned on him, and made memories that’ll last a lifetime. And now, we’re trying to give something back.
Paul is fighting stage four cancer. It’s in his kidneys, lower spine, right hip, and his left lung. This came on fast — we only found out about a week and a half ago. He’s still processing it, and so are we. But there’s one thing we know for sure: time is not on our side.
So we’re pulling together to do something special. We want to take Paul to Las Vegas — for one final adventure. Not a hospital trip. Not a goodbye. A celebration of life. A time for laughter, bright lights, and memories he can take with him.
We don’t have a set travel date yet. That all depends on how much we can raise and how fast we can do it. Every dollar will go toward travel, lodging, food, and care for Paul on the road. If we can raise enough, we’ll make this trip a reality before it’s too late.
We know times are hard, and we’re not asking for much. Just a little help from the good folks out there who believe that everyone deserves one last chance to feel alive.
