My Travel Story

My name is Anna Grace, and I am a traveller and student of the world. I study Sustainability, and am fascinated by the way humans connect to their natural environment. I am passionate about being on the forefront of the battle for climate justice for all living beings. 
I have just returned from a semester abroad in Tanzania where I studied conservation, became fully immersed in Swahili culture, and completed independant research. Before that I was living in central america and staying on permaculture farms, learning how to live a life in tune with nature. 
It is my passion to continue exploring this earth, and my next dream is to be able to venture into the Amazon Rainforest. My plan is to spend a month or more in Brazil, Peru, and or Ecudaor in order to help Indigenous communinties living within the Amazon rainforest work on a reforestation project. To me, admist all the doom and gloom of this modern world, this opportunity gives me a chance to give back in a very tangible way. I would be living off grid, in an immersive environment. I know this experience will not be easy, but it gives me a chance to feel as though I am making a real impact on the world around me while also doing something that might allow me to experience awe and wonder in a spectacular rainforest. 
This of course, will not be possible without the generous support of people willing to help me help! I would love to go on this trip, and it would make all the difference to have funding in order to do so.
