My Travel Story

by: Anastasia coe Start Date: Aug 11, 2018 - End Date: Aug 10, 2019
Travelling to Costa Rica has been a goal of mine for a long time, my fascination has always been around sloths and once I heard about the Sloth Santuary in Costa RicaI knew it was somewhere I needed to travel to.

This will help with my furture studies as once I become a Zoologist i aim to specialise in Sloths, by doing this volunteer work I am going to be able to gain a further understanding of the natural environment that Sloths live in before i even start my studying!

While I am there I am planning to give my help where ever possible. I plan to be the best team member I can be. I thrive in situations that place me under pressure and I become very determined when I set my mind on something. I am very passionate about this volunteer work as Sloths are my all time favourite animal and at the rate we are cutting trees down the Sloths are rapidly losing their homes.

I chose this specific destination as I am able to witness Sloths in their natural environment instead of behind glass windows at a zoo. This is so meaningful to me as I am able to first hand experience how Sloths handle thmselves in the wild and how they have adapted to the wildlife around them. This trip has been a dream of mine for a while now, are you going to help me make it a reality?

    College
Well all my assignments have been handed in and marked. 7 out of the 8 of them came in at distinction level, so making good progress.
I also took my biology exam for the course and got 52/60 marks which also puts me at distinction level. *High five myself*
I'm slowly making progress in the right direction, just gotta pass my final exam now. *Crossing fingers*
That's all the interesting stuff that's happened, recently. Just been doing the normal research and fact finding about everything sloth and zoology related whenever I can :))
I hope you can help me out with either a donation, big or small, or just by simply sharing my page so it reaches out further :))))
