My Travel Story

Hello! I'm incredibly excited to share that I’ve been accepted to join the Semester at Sea Spring 2026 voyage. A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to travel the world while earning college credit, gaining a global perspective, and growing in ways no classroom alone can offer.
This journey is more than travel—it's education in motion. Over a semester, I’ll visit multiple countries across several continents, learning directly from diverse cultures, engaging in service projects, and studying global issues where they’re happening. But as you can imagine, such a transformative experience comes with financial challenges. Your donation will help cover essential program costs like tuition, travel, and housing, making this life-changing opportunity possible.
I’m pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations. Semester at Sea offers an unparalleled real-world classroom. I'll be learning from professors and global experts while sailing to countries where I can experience the topics I'm passionate about firsthand. This global immersion will not only enrich my academic experience, but it will also make me a stronger, more culturally aware professional who can work across borders and bring inclusive perspectives to future career roles.
I’m not just traveling to take in the sights, I'm traveling to understand. My goal is to use this experience to help build cultural bridges, both abroad and when I return home. I plan to share what I learn with my community through presentations, blogs, and service projects, to help others see the world through a wider lens.
Along with scholarships, every donation brings me closer to a semester that will redefine how I see the world and how I shape my place in it. Thank you for supporting my dream. You’re not just helping me travel, you’re helping me learn, grow, and one day give back on a greater scale.
