My Travel Story

Hello!
First off I would like to thank you for visiting my page. I am a university student doing my bachelor degree with a specialization in immunology up here in Alberta, Canada. I am on my journey to go to medical school, eventually.. haha!

Anywho, I am going on this volunteer trip to get hands on exposure to the medical field, particularily in a less fortunate country like Guatemala.  I hope to leave a positive impact on the patients I come into contact with as well as learn from the medical staff there. 

For as long as I can remeber becoming a doctor has always been my dream, healthcare and saving a life, is the best impact you can have on this Earth. I will one day, be making this impact on a daily basis. Until then, I will continue to work hard and persist for this dream to become a reality. I know this trip will only solidify my love for helping people and it will give me a wider scope of knowledge on healthcare in other parts of the world.
