My Travel Story

Howdy,

My name is Amyria and I am a current 9th grader at A&M Consolidated High School. I am also a member of the symphonic band, where I play the flute. I was recently recommended and selected by my band director to represent College Station ISD and participate in a music performance tour of Europe during summer 2019. This opportunity will allow me to tour and perform in 7 different countries (England, France, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria, Italy, and Germany) in 16 days, which I am very excited about. It will also serve as a college credit.  I have attached information regarding this unique musical adventure for further reference.

During the 2018-2019 School year, I will enter high school and play in the Marching Band, along with Wind Ensembles. After high school, I want to continue playing my flute, as a member of the Fighting Texas Aggies Marching Band, majoring in Animal Science or Biomedical Sciences, and then attending Vet School at Texas A&M University.

I am asking you to please invest in me for this once in a lifetime dream to play and be a part of an elite organization like Star of Texas Ambassadors of Music. With your help, I will contribute to this very talented group of students that will not only represent College Station and the state of Texas but the entire United States, as we will strive to show the world the other great talents our country has to offer. All donations of any amount will be greatly appreciated and will significantly benefit my ability to travel and better my educational experience. If you would like to sponsor a portion of my trip below are options to do so. All donations will go towards my trip expenses to cover flight, room and board, tour guides, and two meals daily. 

·         Sponsorship of one day: $400
·         Sponsorship for half a day: $200
·         Sponsorship of one hour: $20 or Any amount
