Every two years our spanish teacher returns home to Puerto Rico and takes those who can afford the prices on this amazing opportunity of aschool trip to explore his homeland. I'm a junior, so this would be my only opportunity to go to this spectacular place to involve myself in cultures that are different from my own. The ability to have a better understanding of others and their cultures would mean the world to me, but I can't afford it because I have to save what money I have so that I can have an education for my future. I don't like asking for money, but I'm at a point where I'm involved in school, the community, and extra-curriculars, that I'm limited to achieve such an amazing trip. I'm ready to broaden my horizon and return to my teacher's home on this amazing opportunity to Puerto Rico.
