My Travel Story

Hello, I am Genesis and I was born in Venezuela. I have lived my whole life here and I love my country but the political, economic and social crisis affects my way of life as well as that of all Venezuelans.
I have 25 years, two degrees and a specialization, 6 years of work experience and I can only earn $ 15 a month with a job of manager for the devaluation, I barely enough to eat and help my parents as I come from a low social class family. I was the first in all my family to graduate from the university, on my own and with my work.
I Try to be optimistic, I love my culture and my land but this year things have been too violent. I have been attacked by the military repeatedly and crime. I can't sleep peacefully because in the last riots there have been shots where innocents die or just the bullets reach the windows of those who remain at home. This is dictatorship there is no food, there are no medicines and it is impossible to grow in any aspect.
Here everything is controlled, I can not even buy a flight ticket in this country because these are only sold in dollars and my salary can not afford a ticket to get out of here.
I want to ask you guys for support to achieve this, I want to live in a free country where I can buy food without government permission and buy my parents' medicines, give them a better life because the rural people are suffering the most. That's why I want to leave, to work and take them out later, so I can sleep at night without fear that the military will break the door and suffocate me with tear gas.

    I have really good friends who got this campaing set up. They really worry about me and im pretty sure a lot venezuelans have issues to fund the money to inmigration but im not expecting to "not work" or find the "easy way". As i say, is not easy for me and my friends really worry about my security. This campaing is for them, for all of those "how can i send you money?" or "i want to help" msgs they send.
