My Travel Story

I will be graduating from Averett University in the beginning of May 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Equestrian Studies with a Concentration in Business Management and a Minor in English. I have participated on the Averett Women's Lacrosse team for my four years at Averett and participated on the IHSA team for two years and within those two years, I also qualified for regionals and zones individually. Within everything, I am involved in it had made it seem rather impossible for me to study abroad until I recently found this 3-week long study abroad right after graduation that was accepting graduating seniors. This is an opportunity that I'm not only thankful for but I'm fortunate to have this become possible for me. I feel this will be great not only for my degree but for the cultural experience as well. I feel there is so much to learn in studying abroad and that anyone that is able to, should do so. With this opportunity to learn about the French Mediterranean I will be able to use what I have already learned from University and put it towards my study abroad.
