My Travel Story

In January 2026, I will participate in two volunteer projects. One will be a childcare project, and the other a marine conservation project. As a small island often overlooked, I want to make an impact on Zanzibar by spending two weeks helping to protect the ocean and two weeks assisting at a primary school. I want to contribute to protecting our ocean and its inhabitants from pLastschrift and other dangers. I also want to advocate for important animals like sharks, which are constantly portrayed negatively in the media. Furthermore, as a future teacher, I not only want to help children in Zanzibar learn English, but also experience schooling in a new culture and enrich my own teaching with inspiration from Zanzibar.
