Aloha,

I am Heather, a young and independent mother raising a 6 year old little boy on my own. We live far away from any family, as I continue to follow my dreams in becoming a first time best-selling author and self-taught competitive surfer. 

I am asking for help funding my book and next professional division surfing contest at Queen of the Point in the Philippines in February 2024, not only to surf in competition, but to also continue to gain new perspectives, wisdom, and inspiration in my writing through travel, in hopes to inspire my readers.

I am in the process of writing my first self-help book, as an up and coming surfer who has only been surfing for the last 5 years, competing the last 2 years, recently winning a dozen contests, a State championship in Hawaii, and 2nd place in the Longboard USA National Championship, I am asking for your support!

In my physical and spiritual work, I am here to help inspire and teach mothers, young adults, and other athletes how to let go and be brave by fully embodying their dreams.

This book started out as a online program, as I wanted to help others awaken to their power and find what lights them up in this short and fragile life and turned into a book instead, titled:
Awakening on The North Side of Paradise: A Spiritual Guide to Bravery and the Elegant Dance of Surrender

The true stories and wisdom shared in this book gives me great purpose in the world, something that will allow me to make a positive impact on the world when I am no longer here. I expect to begin my second book at the beginning of 2024 and want to fuel my surfing and writing career by traveling to different surf contests to compete in professional and amateur events visiting; Australia, Mexico, and California in 2023 and 2024.
