My Travel Story

Blindness is a specturm and I am a blind woman. I was diagnosed with genetic disorder called retinitis pigmentosa , which is causing blindness in my eyes. I currently have very limited central vision, and have no peripheral vision left. Since my diagnosis I’ve been tying to travel to see all the beautiful places on this planet. I love to go to places and learn from the local and indigenous peoples about their customs, culture, agriculture As more of my vision slips away daily i would like to embark on a year of travel. I would like to visit and explore Mexico,Peru, and Thailand, I want to see places and make memories that will live on in my mind long after my vision is gone.
