Hello! I’m Tahereh, a woman in tech with a deep passion for data, AI, and lifelong learning.

Last year, I had the incredible opportunity to attend the Databricks Data + AI Summit. I participated in hands-on workshops, connected with inspiring professionals, and proudly earned my AI Engineer Associate certification. That experience didn’t just boost my skills—it gave me the confidence to stand out in a field where women like me are still underrepresented.

This year, I’ve been accepted to return to the summit, and I’m determined to take the next big step: earning my Machine Learning Engineer Associate certification. This isn’t just another credential—it’s a critical milestone in my journey to becoming a leader in AI and a role model for other women navigating the tech world.

Unfortunately, I don’t have employer funding this time, and the costs of travel, lodging, and registration are more than I can manage alone. That’s why I’m reaching out to you—my community—for support.

This summit is more than just a conference. It’s a chance for me to:

Deepen my technical skills in machine learning and AI.
Connect with mentors and leaders in the field.
Represent Iranian women in tech on a global stage.
Bring back knowledge and inspiration to share with others in my community.
I actively mentor junior developers and share what I learn through workshops and community events. By attending this summit, I’ll be able to uplift and empower more women in STEM—especially those who, like me, are navigating spaces where they don’t always see themselves reflected.
