Support a Cuban Exile's Dream to Study the Masters
My Travel Story
That freedom—especially the freedom to create—has defined my life ever since. Through painting, photography, poetry, and writing, I’ve built a world where my voice matters. Art became more than just expression; it became resistance, healing, and identity. I graduated with Highest Honors from Miami Dade College with a degree in Graphic Design, and I’m now preparing to take the next step in my academic journey: earning a Bachelor’s degree in Art History at John Cabot University in Rome, starting Fall 2025.I am passionate about studying the visual culture of civilizations that valued truth, beauty, and the pursuit of knowledge—ideals I could not freely explore in my homeland. Rome, with its unparalleled legacy of art and ideas, offers me a chance to study these values in their birthplace. But financing international education comes with significant challenges, especially as someone rebuilding his life from scratch.
I’ve worked full-time jobs and built a website to sell my art in an effort to support my dream. Now, I’m asking for your help to cross the final bridge: the financial gap between acceptance and attendance.
