Teaching children English
My Travel Story
I am excited to share that I will be traveling to Bali, Indonesia, this August to volunteer as an English teacher for children. As a 21-year-old student with a passion for entrepreneurship, this opportunity means the world to me, and I need your support to make it happen.
Why Bali?
Bali is a beautiful destination with a rich culture, but many children there lack access to quality English education, which is crucial for expanding their future job prospects. By volunteering, I aim to bridge this gap and inspire these young minds to achieve anything they put their minds to.
My Passion for English and Education
As a native English speaker, my love for books and the English language comes naturally to me. I believe in the transformative power of education and want to share this passion with children in Bali. Teaching them English will not only help them in their future careers but also broaden their horizons and boost their confidence.
Making a Difference
I aspire to be that unforgettable teacher who makes a lasting impact on students' lives. We all have that one teacher who has a special place in our hearts, and I want to be that person for these children. I want to be a source of encouragement and inspiration, showing them that they can achieve great things regardless of their background.
Documenting the Journey
In addition to teaching, I have started a social media journey to document my volunteering experience. Through this, I hope to inspire other young adults to give back and share the privileges they’ve had. By showcasing the impact of volunteering, I aim to create a ripple effect of kindness and education.
Personal and Professional Growth
Coming from a disadvantaged background myself, I understand the value of opportunities like this. Volunteering in Bali will not only allow me to give back but also enrich my education and career. This experience will enhance my leadership skills, cultural awareness, and entrepreneurial spirit, all of which are vital for my future goals.
