My Travel Story

Hi everyone, my name is Clarise. I'm currently facing financial difficulties in paying for my medical school fees. I come from a modest family in the countryside. My father is not around to provide financial support, and my mother is elderly. Meanwhile, my sister and brother are dealing with their own debts, including their house, car, education loans, and other financial obligations.

Growing up in the countryside was challenging. I had to work hard and study diligently during school holidays just to support myself. I graduated from college in May 2024, while all my peers have already enrolled in university to pursue their dreams. I feel left behind. I cried and felt hopeless, but now I see a glimmer of hope from all of you who are willing to help me.

When I was seven, I witnessed my grandfather pass away right in front of me due to a misdiagnosed illness. It shattered me, and from that day on, I dreamed of becoming a doctor—so that no one else has to endure what I went through. I want to be a doctor who treats patients with love, care, and compassion, bringing hope not only to them but also to their families. However, my financial struggles are preventing me from achieving this dream.

I recently received an offer to study medicine in Indonesia, and the registration fee alone is $8000+,, not including tuition and living expenses. I chose Indonesia because it is more affordable than studying in my home country, but even so, I still can't cover the costs.

If you look at the photos I uploaded, you'll see that last year, I was hospitalized due to an accident. I broke both of my legs and developed several health complications. Despite feeling weak and undergoing three surgeries, I never gave up on my studies. Even while lying in a hospital bed with an IV drip, I kept studying because I knew that healing was the first step toward pursuing my dream.

Your help, donations, prayers, and support will greatly influence my education and future career. By standing by me, you are helping me move closer to my dream of serving those in need. Every contribution, no matter how small, truly means a lot to me. The knowledge that there are people who believe in me and want to see me succeed gives me the strength to keep pushing for my future.

I sincerely thank everyone who is willing to help. May God bless you abundantly.
