My Travel Story

Hi! My name is Naomi and I am from Puerto Rico, USA. I am a original ARMY and have been part of the Bangtan family (BTS and fellow ARMYs) for 8 years. I started as a teen to now becoming a young adult. The communities of support that have flourished because of the appreciation for BTS and their message, have helped me get through tough times. Being an ARMY means to me having a family and having a place that feels like home. BTS songs have been anthems for chapters of my life, and hold emotional value for me. Also, their songs,their wisdom have been a map that guided me when I was lost, alone, scared and afraid.
My first concert of BTS would have been the Red Bullet Tour in New York 2015, but, my family couldn't afford the airplaine tickets.
Intead of a quinceañera, I asked to have dinner at a traditional Korean restaurant in Florida.
Years later when I was finally going to their Map of the Soul Tour, then it got cancelled and postponed because of the Pandemic.
For me it has been rises and lows.
So when I had seen the notification for the concert in CA I felt a rush of happiness and excitement.
My parents say that the concert is going to be half way across the world and that I was gonna waste my money.
I am reaching out to you, fellow humans. Help me make my dreams come true and be reminded that life is worth living.
