Hi! My name is Sarah and I'm 30 years old. I have never been to Hawaii before and as an artist/photographer, it would be a dream Christmas vacation. My partner and I have not had our honeymoon trip yet so to speak, and when this opportunity came up, I wanted to surprise him and make it a special trip. We are cruising with Holland America for the 16 day Hawaii circle.

I have already booked it and payed the deposit; but with the news that the Biden/Harris administration is unable to help with student loans, I unfortunately will have to resume payments starting the end of August. Life has also thrown some unexpected expenses my way and though I've requested to receive a raise from my job, I have yet to hear back from HR. Bureaucratic BS as they say.

The cruise payment is due by September 20th, in the amount of $8,000. The credit cards that I was going to put that payment on have increased their interest rates multiple times since the beginning of the year. It seems like I can never pay down the balance. Knowing that the deadline for payment is coming up and that I'll be tasked with my student loans at the same time is so disheartening and causing undue stress and sleepless nights.

I would be forever grateful if some kind person would be able to help me out with this. And if I could ever return the favor in some form or fashion, please know that I will try my best to. Thank you for reading and (hopefully) for your contribution to helping with my dream cruise.
