My Travel Story

I am visiting Ghana as part of a student volunteer group. We will be based in the Volta region at a village called Woe. We will be teaching, coaching sports and helping with building/rennovation work at 2 schools in the village.

I am particularily interested in the building work beacuse I have seen the great progress that previous students have made on past trips and what a difference it makes to the local community. By going on this trip I am hoping I can help children less fortunate than me to have a better environment in which to learn and play.

  • Fundraising Efforts Continue...

    Some of the things I have been doing include:
    - Fundraising with the school at the Cotswold show
    - Helping at the club-a-sise event
    - Delivering magazines for the Cirencester scene
    - And raising money by being sponsored for every wicket i take during the cricket season... I am on 22 wickets so far!
