My Travel Story

Hello, friends and fellow animal lovers,

I'm raising funds for a very special kind of travel. My sweet dachshund has Cushing’s disease and recently lost his older brother, his lifelong companion, to heart failure in February. Since that heartbreaking loss, he’s been grieving in ways that are hard to witness. He howls softly when he’s alone, clearly missing his best friend. His sadness has been real, deep, and difficult.

That’s why I want to give him something to lift his little spirit: a peaceful beach vacation where he can rest, explore, and feel joy again. I truly believe that time near the ocean—with the scent of salt in the air, warm sand beneath his paws, and new sights to discover—could help heal his heart.

This trip is about more than travel—it's about comfort, connection, and reminding my pup that happiness still exists. I’m hoping to cover the cost of pet-friendly lodging, transportation, and some simple comforts to make it all special for him.
