Hello Beautiful Creatures of God!
My name is Bilyne. I was born and raised in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. I currently reside in Apopka, FL. At the ripe age of thirteen, I fell in love with foreign languages and public speaking. As a Haitian Creole native speaker; I additionally fluently speak, read and write French, English and Spanish.

I have a B.S. in Business Administration and Management. Currently I am pursuing a second degree in Event Management at University of Central Florida. For the upcoming summer of 2024, Rosen College of Hospitality Management invites their students to experience a “Taste of Europe” throughout Italy, Spain and Portugal. We will learn the European approach to culinary studies, as well as gain food and beverage knowledge on a variety of specialty products including a wide array of cheese, wine, fish and sweet delicacies. While abroad, we will engage with international food and beverage professionals, sample local products and participate in hands-on culinary exercises. This program is very meaningful to me because it will help me broaden my culinary knowledge and global insight. It will run from May 8th- 24th 2024 through University of Central Florida: https://studyabroad.ucf.edu/_portal/tds-program-brochure?programid=10058 (if you want to check it out).

The program fee is $5,175; the airline ticket is $1,500 roundtrip; food and other miscellaneous expenses will be $1,000. For the next three months, I will pinch pennies however I can—skip my morning coffee out, buy lower-grade gas, pick cheaper cuts of meat at the grocery store, eliminate eating out from my budget and use my skills in Event and Floral Design to earn extra income. Despite all my efforts, I will still need some help. The more help I get, the closer it will get me to this incredible opportunity. Anything will help, even just five dollars (that’s bus fare!)

Thank you so much in advance for your generous contribution, I can’t tell you how super-duper excited I am for this trip and how grateful I will be to everyone who helps me take full advantage of this opportunity.

May the God of happiness bless you today, tomorrow and for the rest of your life!

View life in a positive way, keep the glass half full!
