My Travel Story

My Daughter is married to a man in the army. They live 6 hrs away from me. Being a disabled single mom with a 14 year old at home even working 2 jobs with rents now a days struggle. I don't get to see my daughter and grandkids other than face time maybe 1 time a year. I have to rent a car when I visit plus gas and food and being able to do things with the family rather than just sitting in the house. Living in Rhode Island is very expensive so I literally work 7 days a week and lucky to cover all the bills let alone have money left over.i FaceTime with the kids everyday but it's nit them same. My grandkids try to grab me through the phone and get upset I can't hold them or be with them. My goal is to be able to afford to visit for a week during school vacation this April. I would love to spend time with them and be able to still pay the bills taking time put of work. I would also love to take them out and do stuff with them while there. My 14 year old would also love to spend time with them as she talks to them everyday and misses them also. She volunteers and sometimes will be given option at something every month for doing this , she usually picks something to send to the girls never for herself. Things are so tight no matter how much I work due to having one leg needing a first floor apartment that costs 2000 a month. That's literally working 2 jobs 7 days a week and we still go without. This year I can't even do Christmas other than one small gift each.rents food and utilities keep going up yet pays don't. I would truly appreciate any help to see my grandkids it's been a long time.
