My Travel Story

I am in 10th grade at Boone High School. I am trying to raise funds for a trip to Spain with my Spanish class. I am beyond excited! This trip means so much to me because I plan to minor in Spanish when I go to college. Beyond exploring a new place and having fun I will be learning too. My passion for Spanish has made me interested in this trip.
     On this trip I expect to grow, be challenged, and learn so much about myself. But I can't do it alone! There are many ways you can contribute to my goal, and I've outlined them on my personal campaign page. On this page, you can pledge your support through social media, and financial donations. You can also see some of the thank you gifts I'll be sending to my donors including postcards, shout outs, and souvenirs. While I am in Spain I plan to be sharing my story on Facebook and sending special video updates to donors.
     This trip is the best real-world experience I could ask for, it is a way for me to gain new perspectives, push myself to try something new, and to become better at speaking the language.  With your support, I will get to travel to Madrid, Segovia, Toledo, Cordoba, Andalucía, Cordoba, Granada and Barcelona. The cost for the trip is $3899 and it includes the costs of airfare, hotel accommodations, meals and admission fees. The trip takes place March 7, 2019.  I have made the non-refundable deposit of $250, The payments are $192 per month until January 15, 2019. I am working hard to pay for this trip by selling items on social media as well as working for my neighbor in his yard. Any donation amount would help me get closer to making my dream come true.
  I know I've made it to where I am today because of the amazing people in my life such as yourself, and I hope you will join me in this next step.
