My People, the Garifuna, after being killed off by the English to almost less than 2500, grew and thrived on this small island. They spread from there to the rest of Central America, namely Honduras and Belize.  I want to learn more about my people, the delicious food and how to prepare it, the language (they speak a dialect), and teach it to my child.
