My Travel Story

My Name is Answer and I am a student of public health in the University, undergraduate program.
 Upon discovering the outbreak of poliomyelitis in these areas, I volunteered to take a child health trip to this communities to help in the sensitization of the mothers and administration of the novel polio vaccine to the the population at risk which is under 5 years children..
Studying public health in the University,I know that this trip will help me to have a first hand experience of working in the rural communities as the primary health aspect of public health targets the people in the rural areas.
This communities selected are located in the typical rural areas with low access to adequate healthcare services,so by my volunteering I hope to make much difference in bridging the gap.
