Natural science & international relations project in Borneo
My Travel Story
During two weeks we will gain new experiences and knowledge by working with international relations, local enviromental issues and examine the rainforest's rich wildlife and vegetation. Our intention is to work for a more sustainable environment, long lasting international relations and spread our new knowledge in our community. For instance we will participate in a Model United Nations with local students and together we will also exchange culture and traditions. Furthermore we will visit a rehabilitation center for orangutans, work with protection of sea turtles and participate in beach cleaning. (In case of any excess money we will donate the fundings to local enviromental organisations on Borneo.)
The studies and obeservations from this trip will lay the foundation for our final examination.
(The pictures and video are from last years students' project on Borneo.)
