I Need To Visit My Parents
My Travel Story
I don't have much to say other than, I left my home in Brazil when I was 21. I went to America and worked hard, I learned English and Spanish and became a Nurse while there. I worked as a Hospice Nurse, but due to not been allowed to obtain my documents to stay in the USA permanently, I moved to England where I now live with my family. It has been 9 years now since I last saw my parents. They are getting old, both in their 80's and they feel they cannot come so see us here now. (which would be an more economical way for us since we wouldn't need days off work), therefore, I m trying to visit them in Brazil, but my economic situation has not been the same in ages. I also need to travel during school holidays as my son will not be allowed to leave school on regular school days. And this makes harder for us to travel during high season. Regardless, I need to go to see my parents as they are getting older, and God forbide I don't visit them in time for the last time.
That's why I'm here asking for help. I had created another page for donation in another place and one of my friends donated a small fund quantity, however, far from be enough. I hope this page works better as I feel aweful in having to ask strangers for money, but, I also feel that is the way to go at the moment with such difficulties at this time.
I'm a hard working person and my self and husband never stayed without jobs, I'm no longer a nurse since migrated to the UK and had my soon, but I have a cleaning business and I does enough to pay the bills, but not extra to allow me to travel unfortunately.
