English Camp for Underprivileged Children
My Travel Story
My name is Eugene and I'm a high school student.
This summer, me and my crew of three are planning to hold a trip to Korea to visit underprivileged areas of the country and host free English camps for the children there.
In Korea, only those living in the capital area (Seoul) have access to proper English education.
Other more rural areas do not, and school classes and even private academies are taught by non-native speakers who do not have a profession in English.
Especially with the birth rate being the lowest in the world, some schools only have one teacher teaching every single subject; children are taught English by a teacher who is not fluent in the language.
That is why we wanted to jump in and help their community.
Through this funding, we will be able to afford plane tickets, housing, and meals.
This free event would go on to change the underprivileged children's lives forever. They would see new opportunities opening up for them that otherwise would not have been made available.
Without sufficient funding, this trip would have to be cancelled; we are simply not able to otherwise collect money to cover our expenses, and opening a funding page is sincerely my last resort.
Please consider donating (Even a small amount of money is appreciated. Literally even a dollar!) so that we can make this happen and open doors for the children of Korea.
Thank you!
