My Travel Story

Going through the foster care system as a child put my growth to a test. I could either fall into the path of a stereotypical foster care victim (not graduate high school, not attend college, etc) or I could beat those odds, force myself to grow, and become who I have potential to be. This program will allow me to grow on different levels than my childhood, both personally and professionally. Personally, I want to become a more understanding individual that has patience. Living abroad in a new city, I will need to practice understanding and patience when learning a new way of living. Professionally, I intend to learn more about London's workforce policies and how their HR functions work within a business. I may use this knowledge in my future job and put the learning into practice.
