My name is Yasline E. Borges Santana and I am a student at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez campus. I am currently in my third academic year of a bachelor's degree in Animal Science with a Pre-Veterinary certification. During this summer 2020 I would like to participate in the "Global Vet Experience Internship" with Safari4u Program for a period of 3 weeks in South Africa. I will be doing volunteer work with different types of animals such as domestic, farm and exotic or wildlife. Helping communities of limited resources and gaining experience in the field of veterinary medicine. This internship is very important to me, because in the future I aim to become a veterinarian of exotic animals.

However, I cannot afford the total cost (approximately $4500). Therefore, any donation would be of great help for my professional development.
