My Travel Story

Hi! I have had an avid interest in immigrating to Norway for over five years now. Consuming everything I can, from learning cultural recipes to learning the language. When I recently graduated early from an American high school, I started applying for folk high schools over in Norway.

Fana Folkehogskole quickly and effectively accepted my place as a student. As a student, I would be living in Bergen, Norway. I would engage in physical activities such as skiing (I've never done that before!), canooing and hiking. There are seven surrounding mountains to Bergen that I would love to explore.

I would also actively engage with Native Norwegian speakers and learn more about Norway's expansion history and culture.

I've always felt this magnetic pull towards Norway ever since I was a kid. It wasn't even the Viking culture, specifically. My eldest sister shared dreams of expansive fjords and towering peaks. My lover is Swedish and actively lives there. Studying at Fana FHS would give me the opportunity to see him and the country I yearn for.

This study program will aide me in my immigration process. It will help me with the language and give me a foundation in Norway. While I have friends there, nothing worthwhile for a business venture. After Fana FHS, I plan to study at Trondheim's NTNU for a bachelors and masters in Archive Management.

I appreciate any and all aide towards my ventures, even as small as a cent. You have no idea how much this means to me.
