My school is offering a medical shadowing in Spain this coming Spring. As a student majoring in public health as well as healthcare administration, I feel that it would be prudent for me to get this valuable, hands-on experience shadowing medical professionals. However, the school only covers part of the cost… for flights and food, the school estimates it will cost me around $2000. My mom said that she would use my 529 to cover a bit of it, but that the rest was on me. My job pays $8 an hour, and I have limited shifts as a result of school. Any help at all would be appreciated!
