My Travel Story

Unstopped by the obstacles I have faced in life- a former foster youth and a first-generation college graduate. I recently graduated with my Bachelor's in Social Work (I have the heart of giving and loving others)! I am currently serving as an AmeriCorps Member and upon completion of my year of service, I plan to obtain my Master's Degree in Social Work. However, I am a dreamer and want to complete my degree online and my internship in the lovely country of Costa Rica! I have the aspirations of being completely fluent in Spanish and also understanding not only the social and systemic issues we are facing in the United States but all across the Nation! I am passionate about using all of my life experiences and knowledge to make the world a better place one day at a time.
