My Travel Story

D and I have been best friends for most of our lives. We have the kind of connection that makes us family. We have both been stuck in jobs that we hate for as long as we can remmeber, and we want to start our own business. I am a chef, and she is an accountant.

We have identified a gap in the market where we live, and would like to open up our own business, however we don't have a real life experience of South American culture that would be required for us to do this.

We are both foodies, we love exotic flavours and exciting cuisines from around the world, which we have been fortunate to try a few of, but the one type of cuisine our country lacks is anything with South American roots. 


We want to travel to the places mentioned, to gain real life experience and learn from the locals on how to properly  prepare their local favourite dishes, in the hopes that we can bring this culture back home with us a d turn it into our own small business.


We have been trying to save for the last year or so to make this trip possible, but unfortunately Covid hit our finances very hard. We need to raise the last little amount to cover our airfare and accommodation for our 3 week stay. And then our dreams can come true. 

So we thought we would give this website a bash. We are not expecting huge results, but even the smallest amount could help us reach our goals.
