Hello, I am currently going into my fourth year of nurisng. I am volunteering in Ghana for 8 weeks as a Medical volunteer where I will help small under-resourced clinics in rural areas and with a mobile wound care outreach services. My mother and I were planning on volunteering as nurses in Ghana when I graduated nursing, for she was a nurse. Unfortunetly, she was in a faital car accident this year. Therfore, this trip is for both my mother and I as I promised her I would continue to live for her. This will be a benificial trip for I will enhance my nursing skills and create memories my mother would be proud of.
