My Travel Story

Welcome to the fundraising page of Whitney and Maci. We are college freshmen at Piedmont College in Demorest, Georgia. We have been fortunate enough to accept two of sixteen available positions on a two week journey to the "best cities of Greece." Greece offers many opportunities for expanding our knowledge of other cultures, languages, and beliefs. As Nursing and Criminal Justice majors, this educational trip benefits to our insight of other communities well-beings, while also getting a taste of their native language. We will be traveling through cities that are not as fortunate as others that continue to strive, and learning about the history of Greece with many museums, ancient ruins, and personal stories from natives. Unfortunately, the cost of the trip is not feasable to two college students in a small town. As we continue to make our dream a reality, we wish that you feel confident enough in our success along this journey to donate to our fundraiser. Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated, and will cover the cost of airfare, meals, other transportation, and hotel arrangements. We feel that this opportunity would open many doors to future success within our chosen careers.
