Hey Y'all! I'm so excited to announce that I have been accepted into a summer study abroad photography & design program in Paris, France! This incredible two-week intensive course will kick off my graduate studies in Summer 2025, and I couldn't be more excited to begin this new chapter of my academic journey in the City of Light! 

Why Paris? Why now? To be honest, I wasn't planning on it! I had heard of the program and thought it was unrealistic for me. A couple of weeks later, it was still floating around in my mind, so I went out on a limb and applied! I told myself if I got selected it was meant to be in the cards for me. Paris has long been known for art, design, and creative innovation. As I embark on my Master's degree, I can't imagine a more inspiring location to enrich my learning and creativity. This program offers me the rare opportunities to capture iconic Parisian architecture, streetscapes, and moments while studying historic institutions that have shaped modern design. I will be able to connect with some of my fellow students (a rare opportunity as an online student) and build up my portfolio. 

More Than That... My path to this point hasn't been without challenges. Throughout my undergraduate program, I faced numerous obstacles that tested my resilience and determination. Despite the difficulties, I persevered and learned more about who I am. This Paris trip represents more than just an educational opportunity, it's a personal milestone. It gives me the chance to embrace new challenges and start my graduate studies with renewed purpose and confidence. I am committed to pushing boundaries and discovering what I am capable of!
