My Travel Story

Hello everybody. First of all, a huge thank you to the very special people who help to make dreams true, with the spirit of kindness and giving. My name is Rob and my wife would absolutely kill me if she found out i was doing this. We never ask for anything we can't work toward. As it stands my wife has a long lasting dream of driving the Great Ocean Road to Melbourne and back to home base. Out of all the destinations in the world, this is her dream, and now mine. We are two very caring people who come from caring careers.My wife cared for her husband in his fight with illness for 20 years. She also had a heart attack during that time and is doing very well now with several surgeries. I worked as a carer, and in 2020 got my cancer scare. I am now 4 years in remission with 1 more year of remission to be cleared of cancer for good. I would love to take my wife on our dream trip in 9 months but we cannot afford the trip cost. We would love to hire a campervan for 3 - 4 weeks, avoiding high cost overnight stays. I estimate around $5000 should be enough to fund our final trip of a lifetime. While i know that this is a strange concept for me, asking for help, i also know the world is full of wonderful kind people who just love to help folks in less situations than theirself. My admiration for people like that is heartfelt. We are those people also. We help everyone we can that we come across in our world, and know how good it does feel to make someones wishes come true. So once again, Thank You from both our hearts. I hope i can tell my wife we are going on our trip of a lifetime.
