My Travel Story

I enjoy challenging myself, but since I am quite a bit of an introvert, I find it difficult to try new things sometimes. On this trip abroad, I would like to put myself out there and force myself to be more active and learn the culture of South Korea. With the rising advancement in technology in South Korea, I plan on landing jobs in South Korea by enhancing myself in the Korean language (Hangul) and learning another coding language. I am currently studying Applied Computing as my major and I want to pursue that in South Korea. Once I return, I plan to continue studying the language and participate in more Asian community events since I am Vietnamese myself. I am passionate about this trip because it is something I have never done before. I have never lived by myself or traveled alone before. Also, the more I learn about this program, the more I felt compelled to do it. I chose South Korea out of all the other countries because I was first interested in it due to its entertainment industry, but then I became more interested in its rise in technology. All in all, the trip and experience I will gain there will be something I will not forget.
