My Travel Story

Being able to travel to Africa to further my medical experience, will be a life-changing experience for me. This opportunity would not only benefit me, but it would benefit the children that I will encounter while I am there. I will be a role model for many of them. They will be able to see a person of color involved in the medical field. I have always had a passion for traveling and helping people. In high school, I was blessed with the opportunity to attend the Dominican Republic for three weeks where I worked with the community to build a place for the children to play. This was an amazing experience and I hope to have a similar experience in Africa.
